Duty-free shops (or stores) are retail outlets that are exempt from the payment of certain local or national taxes and duties, on the requirement that the goods sold will be sold to travelers who will take them out of the country. Which products can be sold duty-free vary by jurisdiction, as well as how they can be sold, and the process of calculating the duty or refund the duty component.
However, some countries impose duty on goods brought into the country, though they had been bought duty-free in another country, or when the value or quantity of such goods exceed an allowed limit. Duty-free shops are often found in the international zone of international airports, sea ports, and train stations but goods can be also bought duty-free on board airplanes and passenger ships. They are not as commonly available for road or train travelers, although several border crossings between the United States and both Canada and Mexico have duty-free shops for car travelers. In some countries, any shop can participate in a reimbursement system, such as Global Blue and Premier Tax Free where a sum equivalent to the tax is paid, but then the goods are presented to the customs and the sum reimbursed on exit.
Duty Free is a British sitcom written by Eric Chappell and Jean Warr that aired on ITV from 1984 to 1986. It was made by Yorkshire Television.
The series was based on a one-off TV play by Chappell, We're Strangers Here, first performed on TV with Geraldine McEwan and Ian Hendry as a two-hander and subsequently on stage as a four-hander at the Theatre Royal, Windsor. The play, like the series, deals with two warring couples on holiday in Spain.
Duty Free is about two British couples, David and Amy Pearce and Robert and Linda Cochran, who meet while holidaying at the same Spanish hotel in Marbella and the interruptive affair conducted by David Pearce and Linda Cochran during their break. Another recurring character is the hotel waiter Carlos.

Andorra (i/ænˈdɔːrə/; Catalan: [ənˈdorə], locally: [anˈdɔra]), officially the Principality of Andorra (Catalan: Principat d'Andorra), also called the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra (Catalan: Principat de les Valls d'Andorra), is a sovereign landlocked microstate in Southwestern Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by Spain and France. Created under a charter in A.D. 988, the present Principality was formed in A.D. 1278. It is known as a principality as it is a monarchy headed by two Co-Princes – the Spanish/Roman Catholic Bishop of Urgell and the President of France.
Andorra is the sixth-smallest nation in Europe, having an area of 468 km2 (181 sq mi) and a population of approximately 85,000. Its capital Andorra la Vella is the highest capital city in Europe, at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 ft) above sea level. The official language is Catalan, although Spanish, Portuguese, and French are also commonly spoken.
Andorra is a country in Europe.

Andorra is a play written by the Swiss dramatist Max Frisch in 1961. The original text came from a prose sketch Frisch had written in his diary titled Der andorranische Jude (The Andorran Jew). The Andorra in Frisch's play is fictional and not intended to be a representation of the real Andorra located between France and Spain. Frisch has stated that the title 'Andorra' had only been intended as a working title but later liked using the term 'Andorrans' so much he kept it.
In Germany Andorra remains one of the best known of Frisch's plays.
The story revolves around a young boy, Andri, who is brought up as the Jewish adoptive son of the town's Teacher, who claims to have rescued him as a child from the neighbouring, anti-semitic "Blacks" (implying Blackshirts). However, it is revealed during the first half of the play that the story of Andri's origin is a lie: he is the illegitimate child of the Teacher and the Señora, a lady from the Blacks, and Andri is not a Jew.
Andorra is one of the most unique countries in Europe. The country is located on the Pyrenees mountains, nested between France and Spain, which are EU members, part of the Schengen area. Andorra however is not part of the European Union, nor is it in the Schengen area. But, since it has a free movement agreement with both Spain and France, in normal circumstances no border controls to get in and out of the country. Andorra is a principality, headed by the bishop of Urgell in Spain and the president of France. As you can see right from the start, Andorra is quite unique, and the amount of uniqueness will just grow as you will watch this video. Thank you, French Review 😍

If you want to visit all countries in Europe, of which there are between 47 and 50, depending on how you look at it, you will at some point have a micro-nation in the Pyrenees on your bucket list. That country is called Andorra, and it is a three-hour bus ride away from the well-known tourist hotspot Barcelona, Spain. On my quest to visit all countries in Europe before turning 30 next year, I made a very spontaneous decision to visit Andorra a few weeks before Christmas. So I flew into Barcelona, took a bus and there I was, in Andorra la Vella, the capital of tiny Andorra! Sitting on the bus for three hours in complete darkness, I didn't know what to expect - and I couldn't be more surprised. The whole place was lit up, and believe me, Andorra definitely means business when it comes t...

Explore the country of Andorra, a small European principality between France and Spain. It's an excellent holiday destination in the Pyrenees, known for it's near absence of taxation, giving it the label of a tax 'Haven.'

no chocolate in the duty free shop
two drops of scotch
gonna end up on his crotch, tonight
all alone, sitting on the throne
some native tounge on the TV
blaring like an old Peavey
he don't aim to be rude
he's fighting with his inner prude
some pommes frites and you know
it's gonna drip on to his lap
yes, see the man slapping it off
travellin' will do him in
trudging through the waves of people
'till his heart is cluttered and feeble
if you take him out of this loop
he may be very easily duped
still he beats the stampede for the duty free
he's using up all that old currency
he's using up all that old currency
